About Steve Layfield Windows
Back in 1983, Steve started up as a sole trader supplying and installing windows and doors.
The aim was simple.
To help local home-owners and businesses choose the best window and door solution for their property; provide good quality products at a fair price and install them professionally so that they look great and perform as designed for many years to come.
Ch-Ch-Changes
Over time, Steve has seen plenty of changes in the industry. He's seen many window companies come...and go.
Product innovation has lead to ever better - but more complicated - choices for the consumer, building regulations have got tighter and the importance of energy conservation has never been greater.
Alongside this, evolving into a registered company with additional trained employees, vehicles and all the paperwork that goes with it, Steve has taken it all in his stride.
Nothing much has changed from that original aim.
We think that still being in business after that length of time - and having 100s of satisfied customers - suggests that we are doing something right.
